About Alphien SAS:

Founded in 2018, Alphien (SAS with a capital of 1.75 Mio Euros) bridges the gap between asset managers looking for a strong quantitative exposure, and brilliant minds with knowledge and experience to design investment indices originals. Building on the combined decades of experience of our management team, Alphien disrupts the field of data science applied to finance. We are headquartered in Paris and also have operations in Singapore.

Your mission

• Analyse, manage and improve Alphien’s digital marketing strategy.
• Improve, develop and learn how to use Data analytics in order to improve interaction between users and grow the community.
• Improve, develop and learn specialist quantitative financial content on the Alphien platform in order to be disseminated to a wider audience.
• Create marketing documents to be used and to support the sales process

Your profile

• Degree in Marketing, Business, Finance or related fields
• Strong interest in programming, quantitative finance and ability to adapt to new technologies
• Good written and verbal in English communicator, attention to detail and strong personal organizational skills.
• Highly organized, motivated, self driven and with an entrepreneurial mindset

You will gain hands-on experience and learn alongside IT developers to create user information solutions by developing, implementing, and maintaining Java based components and interfaces.

Your mission

• Learn, enhance and develop the proprietary Quantitative R-based Library of the platform.
• Develop models and evaluation methods in order to assess the quality of the research done on the platform by its users.
• Data science research in order to create alternative data to be further available for the research community.
• Develop tools with the back-end IT developers to facilitate quantitative research on the platform.

Your profile

• Degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science or related highly quantitative fields
• Proficient in R programming
• Strong software engineering skills and adaptability to new technologies
• Interest in financial markets; knowledge in option theory is a plus
• Attention to detail and strong personal organizational skills
• Highly motivated, self driven with an entrepreneurial outlook

What we offer

• Eligible to work in Singapore
• At least 6 months availability
• Potential conversion to a permanent role
